I flew international routes for ten years. I know exactly what a long-haul flight does to a body — and what undoes it.

Your teacher

Twenty years on the mat.
A lifetime in hospitality.

I'm Tomomi. I've practised and shared Ashtanga yoga for twenty years, including study at Sharath Yoga Centre in Mysore, India, where I received my authorization to teach. I also hold a deep working knowledge of Ayurveda.

Before yoga became my life, service was: a decade as an international flight attendant, then VIP guest relations at a five-star hotel. I've spent my working life reading what a travelling guest needs before they say it — punctuality, discretion, and calm are not extras in my sessions; they're the foundation.

I don't think of this as teaching. It's a practice we share — one quiet hour that belongs entirely to you.

How it works

Booked before you board

Reserve

Choose a session and time — most guests book before leaving home. I'll confirm within 12 hours and ask a few short questions about your body, your practice, and your flight.

I come to you

On the day, I arrive at your hotel ten minutes early with mats and everything needed, and message you when I'm downstairs. You don't prepare a thing.

Practice

We practise at your pace, in a space that's quiet and entirely yours for the hour. Afterwards you receive a short note with what we did and a simple routine to carry through the rest of your trip.

Docodemo (どこでも) is Japanese for "anywhere." I chose the name years before I ever taught a class, for a simple belief: yoga can be practised anywhere — a studio, a hotel, your living room, even in your own mind.

Questions

Good to know

What style of yoga do you teach?

My root is Ashtanga — twenty years of daily practice, with study at Sharath Yoga Centre in Mysore, where I am an authorized teacher. If you're an experienced practitioner, we can do a led practice or traditional Mysore-style, right through the primary series. Yin Yoga is also available — long, still, deeply restful holds, a beautiful counterpart to a day of travel. And if you're newer to yoga, your session will be slower and breath-led, drawing on Ashtanga's foundations and an Ayurvedic reading of what your body needs that day. Private practice means the style serves you — not the other way around.

I've never done yoga. Is this for me?

Yes — perhaps especially for you. A private session means the practice is built around your body on that day, with no room full of strangers to keep up with. Many guests have their very first practice with me.

Do I need to bring anything?

Nothing. I bring mats and props for you and any companion. Comfortable clothes you can move in are all you need.

How early can we start?

Sunrise sessions are my favourite — 6:00 a.m. starts in Osaka are no problem with a day's notice. Jet lag often wakes you early anyway; we may as well use it. Outside Osaka, early starts before 7:30 a.m. carry a small travel supplement.

Where does the session take place?

At your hotel's fitness studio or gym whenever possible — most five-star properties have a beautiful, quiet space for exactly this. Where the hotel can't accommodate us, I reserve a calm private studio within a short walk and confirm the details with you the day before. In-room sessions are offered for parties of two or more.

What is your cancellation policy?

Free cancellation up to 48 hours before your session. Within 48 hours, 50% applies; within 12 hours, the full fee. Flight delays are treated kindly — tell me and we'll simply move the session.

How do I pay?

By card at the time of booking, through a secure payment link. All prices include tax, travel within central Osaka, and all equipment.
